KIRRA HILL LOOKOUT

Public BBQ

Kirra Hill Lookout offers stunning views of the Gold Coast, Kirra Beach coastline, and the Coolangatta Beach. It is a popular spot for watching sunrises and sunsets, and it has recently been upgraded with new facilities. The lookout features a large covered area with tables, benches, an electric BBQ, and a hot water boiler for tea or coffee. There is ample parking, and it is accessible either by a short steep walk uphill from the northern end of Coolangatta beachfront or by driving up and parking on the street nearby.

You should first check with Gold Coast council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
